Söderarm lighthouse is located in Stockholm's northern outer archipelago on the island Torskär. The lighthouse was built in 1839, is made of stone and the whitewashed tower has a red belt in the middle. The lighthouse is approx. twentyone meters tall. Until 1997, the lighthouse was manned and it was together with the Tjärven lighthouse that Söderarm functioned as an approach lighthouse to the fairways towards Kapellskär, Norrtälje and Stockholm.
